"I believed in my talent but had no passion”
I had no desire to win and the results didn't matter to me. I just genuinely enjoyed skating. Strategizing and competing felt like a fun game, but giving my best was hard. For the first time I set a goal for myself. At the end of the 2022 Beijing Olympic trials I felt that I had missed out on an opportunity because I wasn't prepared. It completely changed my attitude and led me towards becoming a goal oriented athlete. When I finally earn my chance to stand on the Olympic stage, I proudly want to tell myself that I gave it my all regardless of the result. I believe that good energy comes from laughter, so I like to laugh. I always want to give good vibes to the people around me with a smile and be able to grow together. Philip 4:13  I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Now it's time for me to commit and show myself what I’m capable of.

“A lunatic striving to be the best”

Skating became a sport that I look forward to everyday and it is something that I want to be the best at. I’ve been blessed to have found something that I can completely lose myself in. Skating guides me to grow not only as an athlete but as an individual as well. Watching UFC fights as well as soccer matches helps me improve my game. I love the passion and energy that sport brings out. To me, there’s no such thing as losing. You either win or learn. Deal with it, adapt and overcome. This is my philosophy.

I want to leave a mark on this sport, skate for a long time and become one of the most technically talented athletes.
